The story behind the ‘toolbox philosophy.’

The idea of the toolbox came to me when I was working with my then-young son who found himself challenged with an issue.  Frustration and concern started to take over the moment. I stood staring out the window wondering, “How can I connect with him and help him?”

The answer came to me. I knelt down so I could meet my son at eye level and said, “Just look at me as a tool in your toolbox. If I have the tools to share with you and help you then let me be a resource for you. If I don’t have the answers then let’s look for the solution together.”

My hope is that the tools shared within TBX can make a difference for you in your personal and professional life.
