Valhalla Pet Rescue needs your help.

I love animals and very thankful this wonderful Charity helps hungry pets get fed and sick ones the medical attention they need. Their shelves are low on food and need help.

You can donate through this website.

The Story

Valhalla Rescue needs your help. Food. It's that plain and that simple. Valhalla rescue rescues dogs. Big dogs, little dogs, dogs with serious medical conditions that need our help. They try never to turn away a dog with a medical need and limited options. Valhalla rescue also operates one of the largest animal food banks in Lewis County. They serve seniors, the homeless, and those on limited incomes to help feed their companion animals. They advocate that a companion animal is the best medicine for a human and that the goal is always to maintain that Bond.

Right now their food bank shelves are empty. Even their own shelves are almost empty and the volunteers are buying food out of their own pockets. Its almost a $1,000 a month to provide enough food for the food bank and the rescue dogs, almost 30 at the rescue and in foster homes.  Valhalla is currently in the process of applying for wholesale account to help with that cost,  but right now it is only through the grace of commercial businesses that gives discount that they can purchase the large amounts of food that they need at a reasonable price, over 50 bags a month.

This fundraiser is to help buy enough food for 3 months of dog and cat food, litter and hopefully a few treats through their retail source.

Valhalla rescue recently did an online fundraiser through Facebook but little did they know that it would take 3 months to get that money and sadly the need for food is NOW.

Please consider helping to feed their dogs and others in WA state that rely on the Lewis County Animal Food Bank.

Valhalla rescue is a 501c3, 26-4189898, and 100% volunteer. Every dime donated goes directly to the dogs. Patti and Anne, the directors of Valhalla, work tirelessly to to do everything they can to find wonderful forever homes for dogs in need, ensure every dog gets the medical attention required, and also help to feed those in the community. Providing funds for food will go a great way to ensure so they can worry about one less thing and concentrate on the animals they help.

Thank you!!!!
